I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the prbloem you will have is not which company will cover the surgery but is there a company that will accept you. Most of the time, to be a candidate for bypass surgery you must have a BMI greater than 40. Most companies will decline to accept you with a BMI greater than 32. A few will go up to 39 but those generally exclude the surgery.Visit a local agent that works with all the major companies in your area. If there is a policy that works for you the agent can find it. There is no extra charge using an agent.
